St Albans Medical Centre

I have never written a review and wish now I'd seen all the previous one stars. For people who work in the health industry brash nursing staff and reception. I do believe if your not going to say anything nice don't say it at all however due to a business that deals in well being of others a very uncaring experience.

Reception is only looking for getting you in for more appointments with different docs. Its a retail office rather than a medical place or clinic

This is the most dishonest medical reception facility in the whole Christchurch! There are good doctors in the clinic.But I am sure if they come to know how the receptionists are behaving with patients, they will feel ashamed!

Have been seeing Dr Gillespie for about 16 years. He genuinely cares, will never prescribe anything that will harm me down line, and is very professional. The reviews below are now redundant as reception staff have greatly improved in the last year or so. Thanks Dr G!

This is the best GP practice that I have found in Christchurch. I am a very fussy consumer as I am in the industry myself and want to say that you wait because they are doing their very best for someone else. Great work guys especially Viv and Deanne.

I've been coming here for years and have been, overall, very pleased with the service.

As a former patient at this Medical centre.I was not happy with the way in which I was treated by the practice nurse.She spoke to me in a condescending manner.I was 10 mins late for an apt one day (consider that I often waited an hour to see my doctor) I was struggling with my heart condition which was the reason for my lateness.I was yelled at by the nurse who then said I couldn't see the doctor.There was no sympathy or understanding. I ended up in tears in front of others actually it was appalling.i have since moved to another practice and the care there is outstanding .

I have had Dr Morrison as a GP for some years now , there is no need to change. He is both compassionate and extremely able as both physician and person . I never feel rushed and he has come through for me on personal issues time after time .His nurse is absolutely terrific and the centres staff first class .I cannot recommend St Albans medical centre highly enough !
