Always a friendly happy place to go, love the overall experience but especially the way Leanne cuts my hair.

I arranged mint to do hair for our wedding last weekend. They did a poor job with our hair and their communication was terrible. This included changing the time they had booked us for two weeks prior to our wedding. They changed it back later but I had a week of stress trying to rearrange our wedding to accomdate that. They then sent a different hairdresser (possibly why our hair was done badly?) But hadn't told us they were changing this . We just received wedding photos, which are beautiful, except for the state of everyones hair. Very disappointing.

Today I had the worst and most expensive experience of my life. First of all my hair was coloured and then nobody paid any attention to that for 2 hours. Then, because I didn't have time to stay for the cut and hairdo I had actually booked in for (because I was going away for the weekend and had an event to attend), the girl said there was still time to 'dry it off' for which I got charged $40 extra on top of the hair experience I had booked with the owner of the salon, which had been incorrectly booked and never got) Hence, my hair, which badly needed styling and cutting was not attended to - I was charged enough to go to Auckland and back and have a good time. Have been a regular customer for the last two years. This was so disappointing and so inappropriate. I was charged $155 for colour. No cut and no style. NOT HAPPY! Mint - Dreamers!

Crystal is an amazing young hairdresser. It's the 3rd hairdressers we have tried since moving to Whitianga and we have finally found a keeper! Lovely place to call in for cut with the lovely shop out front, went for a coffee next door afterwards, it was great mother and daughter morning out.

Leanne and Charlotte are both an amazing team at Mint! I've been a regular customer for a while and I have never had any problems whatsoever! They always accommodate you and make sure your comfy and okay! I'd recommend for anyone to go get there hair done at mint! Have a good Xmas!
