Great place for book lovers, easy layout and I love popping in for a look. If you want to support independant bookstores 100% check this one out. Casabella lane is always nice to walk through, so great location as well.

Super clear and great layout. An incredible collection of fiction and non-fiction titles including a lot of 'hard to find' history books. Also an incredibly friendly staff member. Notably there are lots of literacy themed gifts which are a great choice for anyone gifting for a bookworm.

Outstanding service from this bookshop. Ive been coming in to get books for a short time for gifts. I rang Poppies on Friday to see if they could send a selection of gifts as i was unable to go to shop to collect or deliver. No problem at all, the box arrived next day, all beautifully gift wrapped and with a card. Thank you so much you made a little girls birthday very special. Appreciate the extra time and effort. 5+ stars

Lovely staff, great selection of interesting books that you won't find at big bookstore chains. Prices might be slightly higher but don't forget that you get more than just a book and you support a wonderful local store! Bookstore browsing at Poppies is highly addictive and brightens your day.
