Lovely place for an evening out when town is jam packed with festivities. Short walk from Queen's Street, very easily accessible. Lovely front desk/reception area. Common areas are spotlessly maintained. Facilities like the pool, sauna and spa all exceeded expectations in terms of sanitation and hygiene. Very strict no smoking/no glassware rules by any of the pool/spa areas help keep the place safe for guests and visitors. Slightly on the expensive side for tourists, but worth it if you want the proximity to CBD and enjoy spectacular views of Sky Tower and Harbour Bridge. Rooms are quite large and spacious with all modern amenities, however, general housekeeping is left up to the guests (that's the only con).

Nice size room for tower suite. Patchy renovation making the place unappealing. Kitchen, flooring, and bathroom needs complete renovation to make this hotel deserving of a 4 star and perhaps 5 star rating. Furniture needs reupholstering as well. Positive notes include great location, comfy bed, new TVs, and nice harbor view!

Hotel staff were extremely rude, saying things like I'm busy. What do you want." when we were asking for towels. Seems they are short staffed and I can understand to an extent. Service made the stay seem unwelcome and unwanted."

Absolutely awesome time. Such a nice location, staff extremely helpful. Had a pool with an awesome view and a gym/ health spa. The bed was honestly the comfiest thibg i have ever slept on and possibly ever will sleep on. Air conned rooms to escape the humid head. Easy 5 stars

The room was spacious but dirty, and not up to standard for any hotel you would pay money to stay at. We were paying guests yet when we approached the receptionist named Christina for a quick question, she barked back at us in an annoyed tone. Out of the few nights we stayed, we came across several different receptionists and only one was kind enough and had the minimum of complying with our simple requests in a nice way. The overall atmosphere of this place is quite dull and the employees show that in their poor customer service. Other customers are better off paying a bit extra in other hotels in the city.

We were dissatisfied with our room at first, but the staff was very accommodating and resolved our issues. Gym and pool area are ok. Location is convenient. The breakfast though is off the hinges!!! We spend a lot of time traveling and in hotels and this is the best hotel breakfast we have had, by far. Amazing selection of great tasting breakfast food and a very friendly staff.

Stayed in the tower wing but had to check in at the other site which is a short to medium walk around to the other desk. Hotel is fine but a little dated - pretty standard for any hotel in NZ. Good location though with the whole city in walking distance.

The Heritage is pretty central, & really easy to get both on & off the motorway from.We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen. It had all that we needed, was quiet, comfortable and roomy. Clean too. There were 2 TVs and plenty of drawer space to unpack your things. The bed was really comfortable, with a choice if pillows. The decor was looking a little tired though, & could do with an update & repair. The staff were all extremely helpful, knowledgeable, & friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I'd definitely stay here again.
