Called into Whau Valley Hot Bread Shop for a pie and doughnut. I actually didn't have my favourite, which is mince and cheese. I thought I'd try the pork and watercress for a change. Not bad a pie, considering it could do with a bit more pork and cooking time. Go check out their yummy flavours.

$18 for a chicken skewer, kransky, bacon and egg muffin and a 600ml coke. Could not finish muffin. Not very good. Just managed to get through kransky but had to spit some rubbery pieces out. Shop needs a bit of a tidy up and organising...

Today was very busy , (which is great for the owners). A combo coffee rosterie and cafe. Eat in it take out. Menu board offering a good selection of sit down meals, plus well-stocked cabinet (hot and cold) snacks. Usual hot and cold drink options. Clean, light and bright, modern setting with attentive team. Pricing moderate. Seating for small groups also. Parking on street side can be tricky at times. Worth checking out.

this is the first time i been to this hot Bread shop in a very long time Whau Valley has changed so much since i was here Last and that's going back 1999 That's 35 years ago that is a long time especially when i allways came here now and again growing up as a toddler in the 70s and 80s in whangarei with my great great gran Auntie Te Wiki Toroa Edmunds and my older sister's taken me everywhere with them including this hot Bread shop for a pie and a Fanta

Large and tasty custard pie for a good price. Good mince and cheese pie. Chelsea bun and chicken cranberry pie were underwhelming but okay.
