We had a wonderful High Tea here for a surprise birthday party for my mother. The ambience was beautiful, with so much attention to detail from our gracious host Judy, in regards to the lovely food and brilliant service. Everyone absolutely loved it and were so impressed. This would also be a great place to stay for a romantic weekend away, especially whilst travel is restricted. Overseas guests, once travel resumes, would find it such a haven, with everything on your doorstep including shops, ferry rides to our beautiful neighbouring islands and the city 10 minutes away. I would highly recommend it!!!.

Wow what a fantastic place made to feel so welcome and made a great friend in Judy as well .Judy has made my family feel so welcome and we return for a day visits and a cuppa always welcomed with a smile and Cooper is fantastic with everyone .Not sure what the other guy is talking about but could not fault the host the service or the food what a rare treat to have such a great place to stay instead of a impersonal Hotel one of Aucklands best kept secrets !!

The staff were rude and unwelcoming. We went there for high tea. The table cloths and napkins were covered in dog hair (which was also found in my quiche). Food was average at best, and the hot items were cold. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

My dad and his wife stayed here a month ago and while they quite enjoyed their stay, the hotel charged them regardless of them already having paid through the booking site. Now a month later the hotel still isn't cooperating to return the double payment. So perhaps don't stay here if you don't like being ripped off.

Beautiful historic villa in Devonport. Lavish high tea with bubbles. Gorgeous bone china and silverware. Great service, this is a lovely place to come for a fantastic treat.

We had originally been booked into the Scenic hotel in Auckland but cancelled due to building works. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Peace and Plenty in Devonport. The B&B is ideally located for the ferry terminal as well as local shops and restaurants. The owner, Judy, is extremely hospitable. Breakfast was excellent and rooms delightful. Judy has arranged discounts with a number of the restaurants locally. Limited parking is also available on a first come first served basis.

Quaint old home that has been converted to a B & B, with high teas offered at weekends. You can enjoy a glass of bubbles with your high tea, whilst wearing one of their multitude of hats (assortment of colours & styles). Was a little disappointed by the selection of high tea goodies and teas, although the warm fresh scone at the start of the tea was a lovely touch.

I was there for an event: a wedding organised on the premises. The food was very average, and the host was just plain terrible! The most impolite person I have met in New Zealand. She was English though.
