Staff are lovely and know their products! A great variety of products. Each time I've purchased I've always had it gift wrapped and it always looks amazing. Thank you for the great service!

Some nice gifts but annoying return policy.I went there to buy some gifts today, found something that seemed rather high priced but still bought three since I needed a gift for the family. Fifteen mins later I coincidentally saw the exact same item 40% cheaper at NewWorld, and it was not even on sale there. So I went back immediately to Acquisitions to return my item only to be told they cannot refund me but only give me a gift voucher, because there was nothing faulty with the items. I decided to decline the voucher since I prefer to buy all my future presents at a shop with better customer service.

I wasn't impressed with attitude of the tall ginger haired girl, I was spending over $500 so asked for a discount she told me abruptly no if you don't buy it someone else will and walked away. I'm a business man myself, I couldn't believe how we were treated. If she hadn't walked away, we still may have gone ahead with purchase. Staff attitude is discussing.

So I study here in dunedin. My family came from Auckland and this old lady thinking we were from out of the country started questioning us about not wearing a mask. It's not mandatory to wear a mask, it's based on choice. There were other customers in store who weren't also wearing a mask and she said nothing to them. This was a direct way of her saying your brown, they are white so they are allgood. Old hag, hope u live a good life.

This shop used to be the premiere gift shop for many years in Dunedin. The quality of customer service have declined considerably as they expanded. The merchandising is excellent and packaging well thought of. Presentation have always been their strong point. A nice place to browse and window shop. Price points are reasonable.

Amazing customer service from some of the girls working today, I had to return/exchange a gift I bought as there was a slight chip in the ornament, I wasn’t too sure if I was going to be able to as it was pretty minor, but no questions were asked and I was able to exchange! I was also greeted with smiles, And the Lady serving me was amazing ❤️

In 2017, i bought Poo Lolly for my true lover. (His big Kid)I don't know whether he liked it or not.I also bought melting candles from this shop, i loved it ( cinnamon, lemon, rest i can't remember).Customer service was good., when buying Poo Lolly. That lady was awesome. Thank you.:).Love and Light goes to this store for making me happy with the products i wanted in 2017.

Very² unfriendly staff, I remember that I want to buy a bracelet. I test to wear it before I buy and to make sure it fit perfectly on my wrist.One of the staff girl as I can remember is really rude to me and she say You know that you not suppose to wear it before you buy it" the way she talk to me very rude and the expression her face very unfriendly.I know is my fault because I wear it

My husband and I were shopping and I wanted to treat myself by buying a shawl I fell in love with. I found that the one I love most had a 50% off tag on it and it made it all the more special that I had to have this shawl. We continued to shop and I noticed an older woman I’ve seen before start to linger in the area that we were looking. This happened the last time I had been in this store. It was obvious she didn’t need to stare at a coffee cup sitting on a shelf close to us. I started to think maybe cuz I’m heavily tattooed that she expected us to shoplift, or maybe it’s because I may look unwell due to going through cancer treatment she may assume I don’t fit the mold of an acceptable shopper’s appearance? I tried to ignore that feeling but when it came to checking out, she immediately told me that the shawl I was purchasing was not meant to be on sale and went straight back to her manager. I was heartbroken and confused since the 50%off tag had the exact same price info as the original tag, I highly doubt this was a mistake. My husband was quite upset at how she handled this sale and to be honest the complete embarrassment on how she treated this makes me never want to go back and support such a business again. If you assume someone that doesn’t fit a specific shoppers aesthetic is unworthy of a sale, you have no business being in the retail industry.

I bought a Aroma diffuser today,and it didn't work so I bought it back straight away, the manager and blonde girl are reasonably nice, but the dark curl hair young girl is awful, she is rude and mean, not only questioned me some weird questions like did you read the instructions ? " "did you use the USB cable?"also questioned my credit card like I was holding a fake one
