Nice place to chill in the sun, or play netball or football.It’s nice to go in the north part too have a little walk, there even is some sort of gym equipments there and the botanical gardens.Must see if you are staying around

First cricket match at Hagley oval under lights. Perfect afternoon and evening, plenty of space on the embankment and around it.Plenty of toilets around just watch out you don't get hit by a stray ball waiting as kids are playing everywhere.Bar was a bit small as a long line ended up forming almost continuously along with no paywave. food was slightly better but not enough was available and wait times were long.

Great place to view the cricket. Staff very good at keeping things under control. Drinks a bit expensive but served with a smile and keeping everyone in control. Central location made it easy to get to and easy to leave. Toilets well kept and good trucks clean supplying food. Security ensured no sharp objects or illicit alcohol could be snuck in.
