Great team - very efficient - so excited to get my new kitchen installed later this year

My husband and I had been wanting a new kitchen since we moved into our home 6 years ago. We were anxious having never done this level of reno before. We found Brian at kitchen studio not only easy to deal with but also on the same wavelength as us design wise. Our new kitchen has been installed and we can praise the team enough, it's so much more functional not to mention much more beautiful than we had imagined and we adore it. We would definitely recommend them and if we were ever in the position again (in a different home as this one is *chefs kiss) we would use them again in a heart beat.

Don't do kitchens under like 18k. Very helpful in recommending someone more in my price range.

Ceryse our designer was fantastic - helped us create our dream and make it into a reality! She was really invested in the process and kept in constant communication. Would highly recommend her!

I am disappointed with Kitchen Stuidio's Palmerston North.Originally we dealt with Brian who designed our kitchen, he was great and very professional and everything was done in a timely manner. It seems he has since left the company, so Ryan took over this job for us. I have had to follow up on a lot of stuff, and only recently after complaining to the head office have had somewhat quick responses but still disappointing ones. This job has taken 4 months and still on-going. Some cabinets came bowed and with scratches (one of which we are still waiting to be replaced), not all mechanisms arrived on time, and a handle was never ordered which we have now been waiting on for approx 8 weeks and then were advised we would need to choose a different one as the one ordered was no longer in stock. The quality of work from the tradies has been excellent, and they have been great to deal with but getting this kitchen completed in a timely manner has been frustrating. Wouldn't recommend Kitchen Studio's Palmerston North, and if you do, I would be wary of delays and false promises.

This experience with Kitchen studios was extremely disappointing and highly stressful.After our kitchen was ripped out it took two weeks to get a bench top as ours was damaged and delayed and we were offered no temporary bench top. (So no running water, sink or oven for this time) Then we got our bench top and it took 5 weeks for the rest of our kitchen to be completed to a functional level (it is still incomplete) Due to a design fault we had no accessible PowerPoint in the kitchen for this entire 5 weeks until the kitchen was finished. We had delay after delay, every time was us calling Ceryse and Ryan the project manager to ask what was going on. When we had our final install date I was so excited and then I was called that afternoon and told actually they wouldn’t be coming that day because now they didn’t have time so they would come the next day. (After being told we were high priority).Many times communication between kitchen studios and the contractors did not happen (not removing pantry doors, not passing on our colour scheme to the glass suppliers, not looking at the Sparkie plans close enough to realise we would have no accessible power point due to the cabinetry) And we were left filling in the gaps and now we are in our 7th week and still don’t have a splash back (this was delayed due to the range hood not being installed in line with the bench, the colour we had chosen not being passed on by Ceryse and our jib being replaced differently to what we had originally been told)I called to speak to someone who would hear my concerns, I was told Angela would call me back and then someone from management and no one bothered (I called twice).Our concerns were absolutely not heard and we felt completely powerless through out the entire process. Very unhappy and saddened that this was my first renovation experience and I wish I had gone with someone else.They were so nice and helpful during the design stage, even offering cool freebees (which we never received) but as soon as we had paid the bill in full we felt as though we were not only forgotten about but not cared about.(Kitchen studios did issue us a sorry and a gift basket, and after 8 weeks now all of the finishing touches have been made and the kitchen looks great, still disappointed about the time frame but they did fix everything they intended too and our space is now complete) they have informed us they now have new procedures in place for communicating from now on to reduce the risk that new customers have similar experiences.R.Crawford

My wife and I initially decided to go with Kitchen Studio for our Reno is because they are the only ones that provided us with a quick response whereas other kitchen reno company in town either puts you on a waiting list or non-responsive at all. It gave us a very good impression and they make time for you even though they are also super busy as well. Ryan (owner of the KS branch in Palmy) project managed my entire reno from design to finish. His team of installers (Andrew, Giles especially) are super detail oriented and their craftmanship is above and beyond! Everything has been installed up to a high standard. If you decide to go with KS, Ryan's policy is to present you with a 3D design that suits your needs and then you can either decide to walk away (at no charge) or go with them. I like this approach a lot since there are companies out there that either doesn't provide any visual design or they charge you for the design. Mitre10 provide the 3D design for free as well. but you would need to find all of the tradies and project manage it yourself. I am super impressed by the responsiveness, honesty, and advice provided by Ryan throughout the renovation process. It is a very complex process since it involves multiples tradies, but overall Ryan's connection with various tradies in town made it very easy for us. There were some delays in between the reno, but it was within our expectations. Our kitchen is now super functional and pleasant to be in. I highly recommend Kitchen Studio to anyone looking for doing kitchen reno that is fully project managed.Thanks again Ryan and Kitchen Studio Team (Andrew, Giles)! My wife and I are cooking madly everyday in our new bespoke kitchen. Our mood in the kitchen now has been transformed from frustration to joyfully spending time cooking!!!
