Fantastic authentic Italian restaurant, great food and wine options. Generous portions, the best and largest eye fillet I have ever eaten. If you are looking for a true Italian restaurant with all the options then you need to try Mamma Mia.

Nice food however, couldn't believe we were charged for parmesan! Spent nearly $500 and probably the first experience I had were we were charged for the Parmesan!Response to mamma Mia's reply:Sorry but I think your reply is ridiculous and have visited many fine Italian restaurants world wide and yours is the only one that sneaked in a charge !We were also placed outside on the street and had the pleasure to meet the local abusive intoxicated man who we sent on his merry way but not what we wanted. Only positive was the waitress and the food.

Awesome experience. I think I had the best steak of my life last Saturday night, and everyone else in our party was very satisfied too. Friendly staff, diverse menu of tasty choices, perfectly cooked and presented. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food with great atmosphere! Staff were really friendly and food was excellent! Best steak in Tauranga, it's even better than famous steak restaurants here. I already made another booking for my husband's birthday dinner in 3 weeks!

We came to this restaurant at least 8 years ago and had a very nice meal. We came back down for a visit and thought that we would try again. I have to say that the meal exceeded our expectations. My eye fillet was absolutely delicious and cooked just perfectly medium rare. My wife had a cabonara. We finished off with a creme brulee and a chocolate mud cake. The creme brulee was the best I have ever had, and best of all I had a pint of my favorite beer. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
