Suzee is a very professional native of the area who loves people and her job. She delivered an awesome tour EXACTLY meeting our requests in challenging weather conditions. Don't pass an opportunity to tour Wellington with Suzee!

My husband, adult daughters and I did a full day private tour with Suzee in December 2022 and I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we had. Suzee immediately contacted me to discuss how to customize our tour to our interests and she was great about checking in to confirm the details for our tour as the day approached. We headed out to the Wairarapa region, which was absolutely beautiful. We stopped at a local cheese shop and a local artisanal chocolate shop (which let us taste whatever flavors we wanted and they were all delicious!!). We also visited Poppie's winery which was lovely. We had yummy grazing platters and tasted a number of wines which were excellent. When we got back to Wellington at the end of the day, Suzee even detoured to a local comic store at my husband's impromptu request and it turned out to be a highlight of his trip. Throughout the day, Suzee shared history and perspective on New Zealand's culture but also made the effort to get to know our family and connect with us on a personal level. Our day with Suzee was one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand.

Suzee our tour guide was awesome. She gave us a super tour of the city, shores, look out sites, etc. She was very knowledgeable and was able to give us hands on local information about Wellington. She showed us around to places that were more personal and local than we would have seen with a large tour. Brought us local treats and beverages, all were delicious! She took us to a local restaurant across from the water and the meal was really good - you can't go wrong with fish and chips!! She even took us to the Lord of the Rings museum - wasn't on our itinerary, but she felt we should see it and it was great - some super pictures with the Ogres. Suzee really made you feel welcomed to Wellington and gave a personalized tour that was fun. Would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends!

Two weeks before our trip to New Zealand, we received a phone call that caller ID said was fraudulent. We answered it anyway and the person on the other end said Hi

This was the most amazing tour! Suzee is so personable and knowledgeable, we immediately felt comfortable. We only had a day and 1/2 in Wellington so wanted to make the most of it. Suzee made recommendations on what to do on our half-day there so that we could get the most of our full day with her - it was perfect! She picked us up in a really nice van, and brought local NZ-made drinks and snacks for us. We were able to see a few highlights in Wellington on our day with her that we couldn't get done the day before (Parliament, cablecar, etc.) and then she got us out of the city. The area around Wellington is beautiful! She asked about our preferences and then took us to many beautiful places including Paraparaumu Beach, the Kaputi Island lookout, the Paekakariki Marine's Memorial, the Paekakariki Hill Road lookout, and Mt. Victoria. We had lunch together at a great seafood place in Paraparaumu Beach. It was a place where the locals go - great fish and chips! She also surprised us with a trip to a farm where we saw incredible things - won't go into detail as I don't want to ruin it for others. Suzee is an incredible tour guide, and most importantly, an incredible person! If you are thinking of doing a tour with her, don't hesitate, it is so worth it. It is one of the best things we did on our trip to NZ, and we now have a great appreciation for Wellington and the surrounding area. Suzee felt like family immediately and we will definitely stay in touch with her. The tour didn't end that day as she gave us recommendations on where to eat and stop on our way to Lake Taupo the next day. We loved our day with Suzee!

Suzee was fantastic. She worked with us to customise our tour experience for a family of 2 adults n 2 teens. Everybody had fun experiencing greater Wellington n the Wairarapa area. She is knowledgable and great to spend the day with. We learnt a lot and had a blast.

We cruised to Wellington in January on our New Zealand cruise & I booked Suzee for a very special tour.Suzee went above & beyond to make our day special.It was my partners birthday on this day, so I worked with Suzee to organise a trip to Palliser Bay. It was a bucket list place for my partner who has 2 bottles of Whiskey from the Ben Avon that sank in the bay in 1903.Suzee wasn't sure if we could risk this trip as it was a long way from the ship & on single lane roads, so she did a run over there a week before to see if it was doable.My partner had the best day & we can't thank Suzee enough.We would recommend Suzee & utours Wellington to anyone wanting a basic tour around Wellington or something out of the box. If Suzee can make it happen she will.Thank you for a fabulous day.

Suzee was great! Collected us from our Hotel, a few discussion point about our likes and dislikes and off we went on our custom" tour. Very knowledgeable about the history of Wellington as one would expect

Having Suzee guide us around Wellington was like visiting a friend who lives in town and having them show us around, and as first time visitors this was the perfect way to see all we could while we were in port for the day during our New Zealand cruise.Communication was excellent, pick up and drop off was directly at the port right next to the ship - so no messing about with shuttle buses into town - and back with plenty of time to spare.Although we put ourselves completely in Suzee's hands, the day was tailored to our wishes so it was easy to exclude things we weren't particularly keen on, and add in a few extras to suit what we were looking for - including a great coffee, and a hidden gem of a lunch spot we would never have found on our own.With a wife that doesn't cope particularly well in cars, she was put at-ease with Suzee's exemplary driving and comfortable car - a proper 5-star experience for a bespoke tour of Wellington - book with confidence. Highly recommended.
