Very clean and tidy with a lovely refurbished food HallPlenty of parking wheelchair accessibleAll the shops had plenty of products in themReally lovely to come to a shopping mall and not see empty shops inside well lit and couches around them all to rest on whilst waiting for friends doing shopping extremely handy to the bus stop

Shore City is ideal for my wife and I in that it is only a couple of kilometers from our home and several of the businesses based there, such as Spec savers, Whitcoulls & Farmers are firms we like to deal with. The attached parking building is an added bonus. Shore City is clean, comfortable and local. The staff are always helpful.

Shore City Shopping Centre
It’s been a while since I visited Shore City, last time there were lots of empty shops and the Food Court was in a sad state. This time however, Food Court is much improved with plenty of options. Mall has had a upgrade giving it a modern look, and all the shops are tenanted with a decent selection (including a New World Metro downstairs next to the Food Court - similar to how it was laid out back in the 1990s). Will definitely be returning…a much more relaxed shopping experience versus the larger malls which can get a little hectic. Public Transport links to Takapuna are frequent and reliable. Plenty of car parking up top if you need to drive.

What is with the security at this place? I've never before experienced such over the top renta cops. In that well known hotbed of crime: suburban Takapuna. 99% of the clientele are either retirees or young families with little kids. What exactly are the security guards expecting to happen? A smash and grab at Bed Bath and Beyond? Or a ram raid on smiggle? Chill out guys. In a time when malls are dying in almost every retail market on earth, you should be grateful for every customer that walks into that place. Not following them around and eyeing them up as potential criminals. Or trying to embarrass young people having fun and not effecting anyone else. So in summary, calm down. No one is planning a grand heist in your ghost town mall. Don't let your uniform go to your head.

A small shopping mall but it's sweet and worth visit. Farmers is the biggest store but nice and fancy shops are available too.The Food Court is under renovation and looking forward to a better place.

The parking times are clearly not displayed and you are taking advantage of people having to pay $25 and leave cars overnight because the parking lot is locked up. My wife and I went in the mall and went for dinner just next door….when we came back our car was locked in the rooftop parking and the same with another young lady. I phoned security and they didn’t want to help. I had to Uber home ($45) and back in the morning to collect. We investigated all the signage and the closing time IT IS NOT CLEAR. Please put some signs up so this doesn’t happen to other people that can’t afford to cough up $70 because a rooftop parking was closed without clear notice to visitors.

The Mall is small but adequate, it has a few shops worth browsing through, although, having no ATM machines at all in there is a real shame, having to go down the road for cash out is very inconvenient.
