Hard to beat this place ... fabulous food and fabulous service. Māori names on the menu are great. Lots of nice little extras that make it fun and inviting... like the map on the back wall. Good healthy eating options too.

Spent 34 dollars wondering what we got for it, sad to say the chips were oily, not drained properly, not drained right and tasted undercooked. The fish was ok to say the least and the sandwich was made with the thinnest bread possible.Won't be going back.

Only place I know found that uses real beef fat instead of the horrible industrial seed oils labeled as vegetable oil. I only ate curly fries and they were freaking amazing.

Got 2 scoops of chips wow not even a full scoop I reckon for $13 they had no salt witch was asked for and were hard in middle not cooked properly come on this is ridiculous its not hard to cook some chips stop ripping people off this isn't the first time but the last time I will be back

Waited for an hour to get takeaway fish and chips. Got undercooked chips and only half the fish we ordered. Terrible service and the food was a big let down. Won’t go there again.

Average, smallest amount of chips I've seen in ages. Onion rings were cold, fish was overcooked, the chips we got were not hot either and didn't taste very good.Why did the burger have a ciabatta bun? Why try make it look fancy maybe make it taste good first, or just use a normal bun.Overall not good. And expensive

Called in for fish and chips. The fish (gurnard)was cooked beautifully thank you, the chips were disgusting. Soggy overcooked or undercooked i couldn't tell which. I noticed the business was for sale. They were busy so i guess a new owner could make some money . 1. get rid of kid who cooks the chips2. keep the girl who cooked the fish3. Call out more than once who the order is for. Better still call out what the order is. We won't be back!
