Old type small cinema with 3 deferred capacity hall, cafe and bar price are very reasonable. Car parks are easy to access (behind the cinema hall)

A intimate little theatre in the charming seaside village of Sumner, which seems to cater often to slightly eccentric, academic or arty clienteles. The Hollywood has the usual snacks and wine available for purchase before the film, and the cosy theatre features comfortable (if not quite lounging) seats. The only small drawback is when you're seated in the left back 2-3 rows, the illuminated exit sign can be distracting.

Disappointing experience where the projector lens must have become faulty midway through the movie turning it green. Obviously didn't leave the cinema to get help as I didn't want to miss any scenes in the movie.

I love the relaxed atmosphere of the Hollywood Cinema. Went to film festival, a collection of short films about dogs and dogs were welcome to attend. It was fabulous, lots of really lovely dogs, all really well behaved. The film's were lovely and heartwarming. Great venue.

Old fashioned movie theatre with most of the mod cons. Still run by an owner from years past. Close to a range of café for eats and ice-creams and of course - the beach!

It a great wee movie theatre. But if you taking little ones take a cushion or a booster seat cos the seats try to eat the children. Lol

Movie snacks- we all know it's usually going to be expensive- Hollywood Cinema isn't expensive- but, really don't like paying for popcorn that is tasteless and clearly been sitting for ages... and on a sat night too. Popcorn is dirt cheap, bin the old stuff, doesn't cost much at all to keep it fresh
