Playground is excellent with water features everywhere. Good for the kids on a hot day. If the beach isn't your thing for a swim, there's always the indoor/outdoor pools next door. A library & restaurant is also connected to the pier and more eateries are across the road

I've reviewed this stunning complex on other forums already. All I can say here is do yourselves a favour and go as soon as you can. Impossible to fault. Choice of pools, landscape, no crowds, heated changing rooms and the staff are INCREDIBLE!

I love the sea air it's very refreshing the car park is a gd spot to stop and you get a gd view of pier rite to the Lyttleton harbour entrance

Love this beach and little town outside Christchurch. We stayed overnight for 3 nights at the beginning and end of our campervan roadtrip around the north of the South Island at Thomson Park.
