I've had 3 not so great experiences there, which is I write this review. Last weekend the rump steak price was $14.90/kg, I ordered some, but the tag price was showing $28/kg at checkout. Which is ok, could be something wrong with the system, not really, they said the more expensive was the correct one, didn't honor the price displayed, and were rude when I refused to take a much more expensive product. Happy to update this review in the future, but for now I'd rather take a longer drive to the city for Preston's in Wellington.

This is a place where customer service still exists. Every staff member I've dealt with is super friendly and helpful. I hadn't been in to Preston's for years but have been the last 3 weekends as part of my shopping and service had been consistently great. Prices are good and quality cuts of meat as well.

Purchased some frozen lamb racks to take overseas for friends -vacuum packed as well as a cover letter stating where they were from as well as clean kill abattoirSpot on service -as usual !

Great butchers! Good quality meat, all the usual cuts and more. Also do a small range of vegetables, and there's a corner full of seasonings, coatings, and meat rubs etc.And it's all at reasonable prices!

Staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly, the prices for what we wanted were competitive & the meat is far better than anything you get in a supermarket. We travel a long way to shop here and it's usually well worth the visit.
