KFC Ruakura

Didn’t listen to order request - extra chip seasoning even after confirming multiple times as we felt it was not heard. Order was ready x 4 meals by the time we hit the service window in seconds- no extra seasoning which on request again they loaded in amounts that were inedible and only on the two chips at the top - clearly displeased by the request (was not even busy). On observation and taste - very obvious it had been sitting waiting to go for who knows how long - hence ready in seconds. Do not recommend the stop in. Gross.

First KFC I have seen with self service kiosks. We used one but then it failed to put the order through and also didn't print a receipt. Meal came out missing a slider but was brought out after we mentioned it . Not too bad overall so far!

This is a contender for New Zealand's worst KFC!. Waited over 20 mins for a bucket. Chips were under seasoned, after asking for extra seasoning and chicken was awful.

Staff don't listen to requests of extra seasoning and forget to give you half of your order!Turned up one day to witness all the staff members outside for photographs, whilst the drive through had one lane working and a line of cars waiting.

Unfortunately every time we have ordered in the past couple of months something has always been missing in our order. This time it was our coleslaw, time before that our drink. You pay for it so you expect it. I would be happy with store credit but you can’t call the shop because it just rings and then hangs up. It’s been like this every time we have tried to let them know there was a mistake. Can I have a suggestion for how best to contact kfc Ruakura when there’s a problem because clearly a phone doesn’t work.

The single worst KFC I've ever been to. Steer clear of this place. THE longest wait I've ever had and the chicken was gross. How do you screw up KFC chicken? I have no idea who is running this place but I look forward to its eventual closure. Based on the other reviews, I see I'm not alone in giving this place a low rating

20 minutes to get two large fries.Couple beside us said over half an hour for their meal.Fries were hot, but powdery and heavily salted.Fast food is a joke.Staff ignore you.We won't be coming back.

Very slow service (over 30 mins). No lettuce. All tables dirty or with rubbish on them. All rubbish bins overflowing, with rubbish stacked on top. Floors filthy. The Colonel would be disappointed.

Where to start with this KFC… well I wouldn’t normally post a review but after tonight I feel like I need to warn people about this KFC before they make the mistake of stopping in here to eat.Rewind a few months back when the store first opened. It was great, food was good, service was fast & it was worth the visit. Unfortunately things have gone downhill a lot since my first visit, let me explain…So we went in tonight to grab a meal as you do and to nobody’s surprise the drive-thru was totally packed so decided to park up and head inside instead. It was lovely to be greeted at the door by two majorly overloaded bins with rubbish falling out of both onto the floor (See the attached photos).We stood and watched the staff walk around and chat while our order was just sitting on the screen not being packed or dealt to at all (Order finally received after 30 minutes of waiting inside the restaurant).During our visit we did the see the manager (Indian lady) come out once to talk to another customer and it was pretty obvious she has no interest in being there, not bothering to help her fellow employees out to pack the orders that had already been on the screen for 20+ minutes.I don’t think I’ve ever seen such unmotivated/uninterested staff in my life, we were watching all of the drive-thru staff just walking up and down, not packing anything and just leaving food to go cold on the bench. The lady serving tonight at the front of the store seemed like she didn’t really know what to do or how to work the till which I guess is not her fault but why is an employee left to deal with customers at the front of house by herself if she still doesn’t know the ropes?I won’t even go into detail about how disgusting the toilets were, put it this way, I would rather go outside if I needed to.I would have given a 0 star rating if possible, I believe the manager needs a big wake up call if she’s going to keep her job & the staff need some major motivation!Lesson learnt, I won’t be returning & I would recommend people to just drive into Hamilton and visit another store if you feel like KFC unless you have a spare 30-60 minutes on your hands to wait for your order.
