Mecca has been a staple for me since I moved to Christchurch over two years ago. I am yet to receive a negative experience. Even if the product or shade that I'm after isn't in stock, the team is always happy to go above and beyond to double-check their stock out back and other locations without my asking.They are always very approachable and knowledgeable, and every time I leave on a high with my new goodies.

Had the most fabulous customer service today from Isabella, she was very helpful gave me great advice on products I needed and was genuinely interested in helping me. So lovely to see such great customer service still exists

Incredibly dissatisfied with my experience at Mecca. I'll stick to shopping online rather than going to this store. Not one staff member welcomed or approached me to ask me if I needed any assistance - so many were just standing and staring instead. Made me feel incredibly insecure.When I asked a staff member for some help, I felt as if I was being more of a burden than anything, and when I was at the cash register the lady decided to look me up and down as if I didn't belong in the store.

Walked out immediately because of the extremely bad customer service.That’s the nicest way I can describe it.I was planning on spending big but when I had some worker ignore me when I asked a question and go back to her coworkers to ‘gossip’ I immediately didn’t buy.Clearly don’t value customers and would rather not do their job.Such a bad staff and atmosphere.

Far too many staff in store and you are jumped on as soon as you walk in. It's like Pac Man as you walk around the aisles trying to avoid them. It's extremely off-putting and makes me hesitant to return to the store.

Emma was amazing! So intent and committed to finding the right product for me in the most lovely way, not afraid to pick her colleagues brains as to what would work. Felt like she moved the earth to help me and made me feel so looked after! All with kindness and an abundance of patience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Nice and lovely staff. The powder foundation I was looking for was out of stock but she made a phone call to the other store if they have any stock and I could get that product there. I really appreciate it for her help.

Recently my ebike was stolen from outside this store. When I arrived and located a lonely looking helmet and cut bike lock on the ground a staff member approached me saying they saw my bike being stolen. They had already started a police report and uploading their CCTV. I am absolutely blown away over the kindness of the staff and their quick response to assist someone. I can't express my thanks enough.

Mecca is a great cosmetic store with a good variety of items. Prices vary, but the quality of the products is generally good. I particularly appreciate the reviews on their website, which are very helpful. They also make it easy to exchange faulty items or products that don't perform well. Overall, a great shopping experience.
