Beef black bean and combination fried rice were really tasty. It is the only Asian takeaway in Tairua & has a very limited Chinese menu. Abit overpriced & took over 30 minutes minutes for our order but l'd happily come back as food was really good.

We ordered two burgers and one piece of hoki. The fish was nice and fresh, the coating of the fish was very crisp and had good glad flavor. Also they seasoned the fish with lemon pepper which tasted great. The fries that we were served were perfectly cooked, crispy and golden on the outside and nice soft potato on the inside. We ordered one beef burger and one chicken fillet burger. The beef patties was nicely cooked and seasoned and had a great flavor, similarly the chicken fillet was cooked nicely with a crisp coating. All in all highly recommend and the ratings don't do this place justice.

First few things we ordered were sold out. Ended up ordering the calamari, chicken burger and fries. The woman at the cash register seemed very confused and had a hard time giving change back. Food was tasty, but wish the service was a bit better.

Headed here after Surf and Sand (across the road) told there would be a 30-minute wait. BEST DECISION EVER. Aarons served up huge serving of super hot fresh fish and chips within five minutes! Lovely staff and honestly the most delicious fish I've had in ages, and that was the Hoki!

Customer service was disgusting, the old lady out the back chased us down the road accusing us of taking her soy sauce after yelling at us for sitting in store waiting for our food. To top it off the food was terrible my chicken fried rice was mushy and the chicken didn’t even taste like chicken or the texture. Waste or money petty it’s in such a nice town.

Pretty average experience at Aaron's takeaways. Customer service was poor, having to wait for ages for staff to come to the counter despite almost no one else being at the shop. Ordered hot chips which took well over half an hour to cook. The chips were very nice just a shame the customer service doesn't match the food they made.

Disappointed with the lack of value for the Black Bean Beef and Sweet and Sour Pork we bought tonight.Reason???? At least half of each container was rice - plain white rice for which we were charged $16 each!!Compare that with the same dishes (without any white rice so ALL beef or pork) from Green Bay Takeaways in Auckland for just $14.Feeling ripped off.

Excellent fish and chips. The fish is very fresh. Chips are very good, golden brown, slightly crispy outside and soft inside. Fried rice is delicious!!

Just eaten some of the best fish n chips from Aaron's Kitchen Tairua, great fresh fish, crispy batter, and beautiful battered mussels. Definitely recommend them.
