About the Business
The Lucky Taco | Established in 2013, The Lucky Taco food truck is the spicy brainchild of husband and wife team, Sarah & Otis Frizzell. Besotted with tacos and after a love affair with food trucks during their honeymoon to LA & Mexico in 2011, the pair set about to give keen New Zealanders a taste of the real deal - fresh, tasty and authentic soft shell tacos, served from a glittering, shiny taco truck.

These are the most authentic tasting, fresh and unbelievably tasty tacos. Once you’ve bought the kit, they are so quick and easy to make, the hard work has already been done. I made the mistake of thinking I could microwave the tortillas like the supermarket ones but they must be put in the pan and it was so worth it, they come out hot and crispy. Love them.

Not only the best tacos in the country (they are) but also the best service I've ever encountered. You'll only have to go once before they remember you by name forever. I always feel like I'm being greeted with seemingly infinite joy and positive energy. This is how you get punters coming back! Don't miss utter gem.
