PAK'nSAVE Gisborne City

Always can find a spot in parking, unfortunately not open till 10 pm. Sometimes can’t buy some products, for example often there is no water (1,5l bottles), and this supermarket is more limited on supply compared to other paknsave stores. But prices are still better than in Countdown, so it’s good option for Gisborne

The service has been getting worse and worse. Waiting for 20+ minutes. Today I’m queuing around the store all the way to the back. You need to put your customers before you profits and employ more cashiers. Don’t take advantage of Gisborne or you will be abandoned at the first opportunity.

Always find what you're shopping for, and staff have always been helpful when asked. always a crowd at check out,but staff are brilliant and fast, so the wait isn't as bad .Thanks for the service

Went there yesterday and was directed to go to Customer Services as the self-checkouts were busyWe were served by the supervisor who made several errors on our checkout charging for things we did not buy.We were eventually credited by over $80 for her mistakes and with no apology from her.A supervisor should never make mistakes of that magnitude and even her co- worker organising the credits was surprised.In my opinion, this supervisor should not have that role as she is responsible for training others and if she cannot do the job right and should be sympathetic to customers, not surly because she made all those mistakes.It is a good job that we checked our bill, otherwise Pak n Save would have been dollars in hand

PaknSave on staff costs, they always have huge lines and no checkouts open. You can't go in to grab a few things and expect to be out quickly. No online shopping either. I know it's Gisborne but seriously we don't have to be two decades behind everywhere else especially if they saving money with their staff less checkouts

Never enough staff on the checkouts, always queues & traffic jams near the checkout which stop people being able to get to products in the front row - poor layout!

Glad that Gisborne has a Pak n Sav, but this is looking more run down than usal. Rubbish in the car park and trolley bays. And the fresh produce is often past its best shelf life! I've seen many cucumbers, capsicum, corn, melon, fruits that really should be under full retail prices and just reduced to clear or free!! And then for those that can shop for a full trolley, enjoy yourselves with a half hour to 40mins of cues waiting in line!! Not a great supermarket for presentation, prices or people who are trying to save time and money on their groceries.

No disinfectant anywhere. I think prevention is always good. When it's there, I'll change my rating.

Maybe put your signs up where we can see them at the self checkouts. The sign telling us that the checkout is only for efpos , not cash , is not visivisible from the line. When I get there I have to go bk and wait in the line
