Went to donate a bag full of clothing (most of it pretty new and branded) but got turned away because i hadn’t washed it all before hand even though it was already clean, i was then told to just throw it all in the red bin at home

Very disappointed with how fussy & abrupt they were being when I went to drop off clothing - alot still had price tags on. So I took it all to another clothing bin around the corner! Hopefully another charity appreciates it!

Absolutely disappointed in this branch of Salvation Army, the prices here are so out of control. The items here are donated yet some items you can buy new for less, does not make sense.This is meant to be a place where people with little money can come and buy stuff, not be completely ripped off.Salvation Army Halswell Junction Road you should be ashamed of yourselves this is not what your Organisation was set up for☹️
