Paeroa is full of second hand shops, but The Depot stands out. It's big, so doesn't feel to crampt. A great place to browse, or grab those trinkets you have been looking for.

The woman behind the counter needs to learn some customer service skills and be a happier person. It doesn't pay to harangue customers visiting your shop as one day you might find yourself out of business. And then I'm sure you'd wonder why??!

Bought jewellery twice now from here, had the precious stones & metal tested and both times we were not let down. Have confidence buying the shiny things as they are true to description. Will definitely be back!

Appalling experience on the weekend, visited The Depot with my sister (a local) and my family. The woman in there went nuts about us damaging a toy car we were holding - even though we had already been in the store 20min. Honestly unprovoked and so rude. We had armfuls of stuff we dropped to leave, we collect antiques. Won’t be going back, ended up at the Op Shop down the road where the people were not pretentious. I only leave reviews when people are really out of line. Even if she had a bad experience with people breaking things previously, it’s only decent to approach people with friendliness not yelling.

Lots to see in this antique shop beautifully merchandised areas. You name it they have so much old stuff from furniture to toys to vintage clothing and jewelery. Though some of it can be a bit expensive depending on what your after. But I would definitely recommend to visit.

Fantastic store with so much to look at!! What I really liked about this store was there were so many different items, something for everyone. The prices ranged a lot as well so it doesn't matter if you have a little or a lot to spend this is the place to go! The staff were amazing as well and more than happy to help if you need it
