Hero for Sale is a fantastic comic store where you can get almost any comic available the team are super friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a wide range of collectables and figures. This is great place to hang out find your favourite comics. I would definitely recommend these guys.

Excellent online shopping experience! Super fast dispatch and delivery.We have also visited the shop in person also, which is easily the best comic store in New Zealand, friendly and knowledgeable, with an extensive range of amazing comics. Highly recommend!

Heroes for Sale
The selection here of comics, books, figurines and board games is pretty impressive. You could find yourself perusing for hours. Prices are reasonable. I personally wish they had a bit more trading card game merchandise but fully understand that's not their specialty and am grateful for the amount of other items they have in abundance. Friendly down to earth staff as well who are keen to help but happy to let you do you.

So nice and great lay out. I love all the staff an the recommendations are great. I love the statues and toys. Stu and sue have made a shop that is welcoming and just amazing. Also Jordan is just the best. I love how the books are done by genre. Yay to this amazing shop. Also you can't go wrong with a shop with same name for a comic shop from the movie true romance

My favourite comic shop. You always get a smile and how are you" when you come in the store. So many options and if you don't know what you want the team is on hand to recommend. Its a warm and friendly shop with parking available if needed. Easy to walk to from newmarket train station. A must visit in Auckland if you like comics"

One of the best comic book shops in New Zealand. Amazingly well stocked inventory and a staff that can (with vast encyclopedic knowledge) answer any questions you have. If you love comic books, it's a must visit sanctum sactorum. Even Dr Strange would be impressed.

A great shopping experience from start to finish. There was a young guy in a yellow hat in there who was really enthusiastic about helping everyone in the shop and that was great to see, he knew where things were and what he was talking about which I really appreciated. The two chaps behind the front desk were very nice too.Stockwise there was a huge selection of comics, full collections, models, and games. Literally something for anyone and everyone.Highly recommended, I would 10/10 go back again.

The only negative is that they're so far away from where I live!! :(Lots of options and if they don't have it, they can generally get it ordered.Awesome shop.
