Was a cold windy day for swimming but had a great hike through the bush, the birds singing was tranquil. Could hear the kaka high up, their prehistoric bird calls & you feeling your in Jurassic park lol. Great tracks. Get there early for bird lovers.

Beautiful beach.I actually went to Anchor Bay Beach.Will definitely go back but need to be early because finding a parking spot is difficult.

Incredible park just north of auckland. Pack the kids and a picnic and you won't be disappointed.Remember if fishing to follow the rules as there is a reserve euning the north side.
