Kaikoura Auto Electric

Me and my partner had been travelling in a camper van for several days and had an electrical fault that we’d just put up with and hadn’t bothered getting fixed. We just pulled up to our campsite at the Top 10 Holiday Park Kaikoura and noticed the companies yellow van parked up assisting the camper next to us. On the off chance we asked if the bloke could have a quick look at our van or offer some advice on the issue. Once he’d finished with the other camper he happily came and looked at our van. Luckily it was an easy on the spot fix which he carried out for us. We didn’t catch the guys name but he is an absolute legend and great to deal with. Sussed our van at short notice at gone 6pm and at a great price. Thanks again !

I can't speak highly enough of Jason. The week before Christmas while stopping in Kaikoura my starter motor stopped in the middle of town.Jason came out and got things going enough to get back to the workshop. He managed to find a replacement set of bushes to fix things so we could continue our summer holiday adventure. Saved our holidays, thank you!!

Service was amazing we called in with issues we were asked to leave it for an hour as they were busy, was sorted in the hour n we are on our way in our motorhome

Really appreciate the guy who helped me out today. The car I rented had a bit problem as showing a yellow sign of engine on gauge which I wondered wouldn’t be a serious problem however the only motor shop in Kaikoura would like to take over my car is here. The guy in the shop phoned my rental car company to ensure they would pay the bill for repairing the car and solved the problem as well. Sorry I didn’t even ask your name but I will be grateful all the time.Thank you!

Called in at 8am with house battery problems. Jason ordered new batteries from Christchurch, rang at 3.30pm to say they had arrived. He had them fitted by 4pm so we could travel. Excellent service

Jason saved the day,! He went way above and beyond. We were stuck with a buggered alternator. He ordered a new one from the North Island. When it came to fitting it, he kept at it until the job was done even way after 5pm.we can't thank him enough for getting us back on the road.

Jason and co took really really great care of us. The part we needed was ordered and delivered the next day. They made time to fit us first thing in the morning. They treated us like family in the sense that they gave us no pressure advice about our car and the price was very fair. When it was discovered we also needed a new belt they made phone calls on our behalf and when that failed they had a chat to the guys next door and got us sorted that way. This is five star neighbourly service. Thank you guys so so much! ♥
