Quest on Durham

I’ve stayed here on multiple occasions for work. I like the convenience of the location and that it has all amenities (as an apartment) for travellers having to stay for more than 4 days. Reception is good and even the after hour process is easy.

Situated at the top of the town and recently been refurbished so there is no restaurant or bar, but Good sized rooms with good excellent kitchen and bathroom

Great apartment with everything needed for an extended stay, close to the water and amenities, enjoyed the ample living space and being able to cook my own meals. I just wish the front desk was open for longer, if you need help after hours it isn't always staffed.

Very clean and tidy. Private and public parking available. Great location. Enjoyed our stay.

The instant we walked through the door we were upgraded from a one room apartment to a two bedroom apartment for the same price. Very central and just minutes away from the shopping and bars and restaurants and waterfront. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed From washing machine dryer, oven, hob, dishwasher, waste disposal unit, all the plates and cutlery that you need, sky TV, TVs plus TVs in bedrooms also, two bathrooms (one with multiple shower Jets and the other where is a spa bath). Access to the balcony for enjoying the outdoor sun. Excellent price and great value for money. Oh yes and very clean which is important for any stay.

I wish I had done more research on this property before booking - I wanted something nice as was away for work, and was travelling solo for my birthday the same week. Do NOT be mistaken about there being any possible water views - there are NOT - currently the property is misrepresented by showing as multi-storey - the building might be but Quest only operate ground and level 1 - the rest are apartments. My booking request which had gone to them asking for a room with a view went unanswered, and I made the mistake of not following up on that - but should I really need to? On asking about views, they moved me to a room they said had a view ... of a hill, some trees, and a ratty old building on top of the hill. Other than that very disappointing result, it is the usual Quest recipe with everything you need and nothing you don't. Bed very comfortable, nic and well equipped kitchen, and housekeeping was very good. Also I didn't know there was a parking fee until arriving at the property - I hadn't spotted anything on the website - it is currently $15 per night undercover. There are plenty of properties with views in Tauranga - I will be researching them for my next visit. to The Bay.

Awesome location, neat and tidy room. A few problems that made my stay uncomfortable. TV remote batteries were flat, used my computer mouse batteries until they were replaced. I was on a business trip, I intended to work during my stay. However the room was so dark I had to use the bedside lamp, as I couldn't open the curtains due to a construction site very close to the window. Not a pleasant sight at all. Bath spa jets weren't working even though it was advertised. Granted the bed was superb! Overall I was rather disappointed with my stay.

Value for money our room had all the amenities you could ask for. Nice friendly staff that work there as well.

Absolutely wonderful! Apartment fulfilled all our needs with space, comfort and well resourced. Service was more than friendly and accommodating. Amazing!
