The Cheesecake Shop Lower Hutt

We bought a fruit flan from the shop today but the kiwifruit slice was sour and unripe. Was not what we expected for the cake.

Ordered a cake today and I was a little disappointed.. I had specific requirements regarding the size of the cake, as I needed it to serve 3-4kids. However, despite paying for the larger size, the cake turned out to be smaller than anticipated. It was quite disappointing to realize that it wouldn't be enough to serve.Another disappointment was that the cake I received looked entirely different from the one displayed. It's understandable that there might be some variations, but the difference was significant enough to leave me a bit perplexed. It would have been helpful if the shop had provided a more accurate representation of their cakes. the staff's inability to effectively communicate cake details was thing to improve upon.PLEASE I DO NOT WANT TO THROW STAFF AND CAKE SHOP UNDER THE BUSDespite this, I must admit that the cake itself was quite good. I had requested an eggless cake, and they were able to cater to my request promptly. The taste of the cake was absolutely fantastic. It was flavorful, moist, and truly enjoyable. I appreciated the effort they put into creating a delicious cake that met my brother’s dietary requirements.Furthermore, the shop deserves credit for delivering the cake on time. It's always reassuring when a business can meet their promised deadline, and in this regard, they did not disappoint. The cake was ready exactly when they said it would be, and that level of punctuality is commendable I usually don’t write reviews but maybe it is just a little frustrating made me write this and that is why i rating a 3 it was my 3rd time here hopefully I have better experience next time no offence guys thankyou.

Came to collect this cake, and very disappointed with this shop Cheesecake Lowerhutt!How can you make a cake like this?It doesn't even look like it was finished!I don't have time to wait to get it revised!

Had a bit of a mixup with my UberEats order, and when I called to let them know about it they were very polite and apologetic over the phone and even offered to help me organise a refund from UberEats and compensate extras for a replacement order. The second order also arrived with a sweet note that made my day! Thank you again to the two ladies (Crystal who followed another nice girl, I forgot your name, I'm so sorry!) I spoke with who strived with me to sort the issue out - 5/5 customer service!The cupcakes and mudcake all tasted amazing and no one could stop raving about them, and I felt as though all of the products ordered were very fairly priced - 5/5 quality and 5/5 cost! My family has never been disappointed with your cakes, and will continue to shop here! Keep up the great work! Have a lovely lollipop day! ;)

Ordered my child's birthday cake from here - looked stunning and it was delicious! It's the first time ever that every bit of the cake was eaten and kids were asking for seconds!

Excellent quality cakes and friendly service!

The cake was super dry and the strawberries were old and sour I asked one of my friends who used to work there a few years ago and she confirmed that the cheesecake shop sold cakes that were at least a week or two old No wonder why their cakes are always super dry. I will never buy anything from them again and the worst thing is that the staff have terrible customer service

During my recent visit, I encountered very rude customer service and an unprofessional attitude.In particular, when I asked whether the cake was baked today, the lady who attended to me, who happened to be the oldest among the employees, became furious with my question and shouted while answering. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and is not in line with the high standards of customer service that I expect from a NZ establishment like yours.As a result of this negative experience, I have decided not to shop at your establishment again. Furthermore, I will discourage members of my community from shopping at your establishment until I am confident that measures have been put in place to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
