Bikram from Auckland Black Cabs charged me $98 for a taxi ride that would cost $56 with another company. He also lent in front of the meter so I couldn't see how much the fare actually was. DO NOT TAKE Auckland Black Cabs

Very overpriced, don't use these guys. I was quoted around $40 for my trip from the airport to Belmoral Road by other cab companies, cost was $77 all up which i was horrified at. Will never use again.

Auckland Black Cabs are completely unregulated. I got charge $97 at 12.50AM from Auckland Airport to Auckland City on October 20.The Same ride on the way back, from a different cab company, but still on the meter was $26.I would not recommend this Company to ANYONE

Meter started at $20 in the Airport. Tried to charge $9 for use of credit card. Charged $65 for a trip usually costing less than $50.

Most expensive taxi company ever? They charged me 68 NZD for a 14 km ride from Auckland airport. See also the NZ herald article $198 airport taxi: Taken for a ride" which shows more such cases."

RIP OFF ALERT.I was charged $75 for a 15km trip from the Airport to Epsom. I made the return journey with UBER and it was only $27.93!!!NEVER USE BLACK CABS!!!

BEWARE of AUCKLAND BLACK CABS! DO NOT HIRE ONE OF THEIR TAXIS! Got charged a huge $87.60 for a 20km ride from the airport to Pakuranga around half past midnight last April 23, 2016. I normally pay just around $50 using another taxi company for the same journey. The taxi driver is a crook, attempted to drive me around thinking I'm not familiar with the destination and the route. Another thing that bugged me is he's always holding the handbrake as if he's pressing something. To speed up the taxi meter maybe? Based on his accent and looks, I'd say he's Indian.

Never use this company. Wanted to catch a taxi from airport to manukau. Got told by the driver to catch the bus and he is looking for a larger fare! I wanted to get there fast hence I wanted a taxi ride. Then he wanted $50 I said I wanted a metered fare. He took his time on the journey, no air-con, gave me his cell phone number so that he can get another fare in return. He made sure he made is $50 by driving around the block twice. Got a bill of $53 in the end which I am not happy about. I got his number and identification so I will be taking this further. Worse Taxi ride ever!

I would ask why Cab # 5073, an Indian Driver, in a Sikh Turban, so easily identified by his Management at Black Cabs,charged us NZ$92.60 Auckland Airport to Auckland City,by a roundabout Route, at 1.30pm 3rd January 2015?Black Cabs,I'd like a $30 Refund,after we paid NZ$65 for the Return to the Airport a week later.....And FIRE this Thief.
