This place opened when I was only a pre teen, so, that means they have loads of info to share and they certainly know their skill. One of the last standing art shops in Hawke's Bay. Check em out!

Bought a singular acrylic paint and realized it wasn't the right shade. Which I bought a replacement for on weekend cause this shop isn't open on weekends. And I took back the paint to get refund but they wont accept refunds which is frustrating. So keep in mind if you buy something and then want to take it back they will only exchange or deny you a refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really disappointing service. I asked if they stocked for a relatively simple product and was treated like I was stupid. The proprietor then loudly told off my daughter for touching some wool that was on sale. Would not shop here again.

I’ve been to the store a few times and found the woman who is there regularly to be slightly rude. I won’t be going back after my last visit as the woman laughed at me like I was stupid after I asked a reasonable question about a product. This old lady is rude, unprofessional and odd.There is one other woman there with darker hair who is lovely though.

The person who’s as at the shop at the time wrote the prices on the canvases 38 - 90, I thought that said 38 to 90 dollars, I asked about the price and the person started making smart and rude comments and proceed to make fun of my looks and age.

This is a great store with a lovely owner. It's the perfect place for all your art supply and even some craft supply needs. It's one of the few places in Hawke's Bay where you can get the Posca Pens that YouTube is reaching about at the moment. They have some sewing and scrap booking supplies besides all the paints and canvases.
