Issues we came across being under this management for a 12 month fixed term lease.- 6 months to install opening windows (legal requirement) after concern was made.- Unprofessional communication multiple times. A specific email stating that a mishap of keys on their behalf was ‘very frustrating’ trying to put blame on us.- Can never call them. Have asked for a call back multiple times and with no response have had to contact the landlord directly.- Have dealt with multiple people and seemed very disorganised as to who was in charge of what.- Failing to tell us about property viewings they organised.- Failing to tell us they cancelled property viewings. Saying that if we were booked in to view the property we should’ve received a text saying it was cancelled. Booked in to view our own leased property?!?!?- 13 Jan got told we would get sent the bond refund form the next day, 26 Jan follow up email , 5 Feb follow up email, 7 Feb got told they were “really behind” on bond refund forms, 14 Feb follow up email, 14 Feb got told they would send it that afternoon, 15 Feb follow up email, 15 Feb “waiting on the bond number to be confirmed”, 16 Feb we submitted the form without them. 21 Feb Tenancy Services state that if there is no reply from property management they would process the bond themselves on 14 March.

Absolutely shocking 'service'. In order to get major repairs carried out on the rental, we were forced to issue a 14-day notice for any maintenance. The lack of action, evasiveness and lack of accountability is truly something else. Another 14-day notice was issued by us so we could retrieve rent we had over paid and they were not returning. If you're looking for good property managers, look elsewhere!

Worst experience renting in Dunedin in 6 years. They were frequently unresponsive to urgent matters, blamed us for the issues we were having, and made our whole tenancy very stressful. Unbelievably rude, disorganised and unprofessional.

Landlords and tenants beware!We did not meet our first Kitt property manager. She quit after 6 months and never visited the property. In fact, our first interaction with Kitt was at our final property inspection. They arrived with no tenancy agreement, no initial property report and no rent summary (as advised my Tenancy Services). Instead they just had a cool app" to try out. When it came to retrieving the money from our bond we were told to contact their CEO. He ignored our calls

I have never come across a company so poorly managed they were great upon move in and everything from that point onwards is an absolute disaster if you have an issue and you need to contact your landlord or get anything sorted out related to your rental kitt is going to make your stressful situation turn into an absolute mess

I’ve got 99 problems and kitt property management are at least 27 of them. I had the misfortune of having Kitt as our property managers last year. We had the accounts we paid rent to changed MANY times, we had NUMEROUS issues with the property that took months to have action to fix, we had to submit MULTIPLE 14 day notices and that is just scraping the surface. Kitt were unresponsive and rude to us over phone and email, and very inconsistent with their record keeping and communication with us, a fact they even openly admitted to us (when they showed up to the property unannounced to show potential new tenants around without giving us a 24 hour notice or telling us we had a new property manager, that’s why we hadn’t been able to get through to them for weeks). Tenants, stay away from this company, I’ve never had more stress with flatting since moving to Dunedin. Abysmal service.

Have used them for a year. Tenant informed me today that she's had to perform her own checks on the smoke detectors because for FOUR inspections in a row (all inspections since using them) the inspector did not check, declaring she is too short" and could not reach them. They never return calls
