Geosolve

The initial plans for 3 retaining walls were very concerning. The plans had made a major change to 1 wall without contacting me, even though there were choices involved. There were 3 other errors that I pointed out, including one of the walls showed drainage connecting to the sewerage line. My concerns were brushed aside and I was charged over $500 for the conversation. DCC rejected each of these items individually plus others requiring amendments. DCC rejected items separately and generated 11 “requests for information” and therefore 11 versions of plans by Geosolve.I know the council can be difficult, but Geosolve charged me to rectify even what we’re their basic mistakes, resulting in their estimated costs being doubled. Their mistakes and inability to conform with council requirements also added around $2000 extra DCC costs. Overall I found they didn’t listen to what I told them, made too many mistakes and weren’t able to meet council requirements well.
