Helpful staff and friendly, tho the queue can take a while. Overall they are very helpful in there. We were reminded to sanitise our hands on the way in so a plus for hygiene.

Im rateing 5/5 iv recieved benefits and grants as well as alot of help with applying, looking, and getting work. Thanks winz.

I got treated like trash on my arrival. Next time person misplaced my papers. One lady there comes bossing the entire show- believe she is the matriach of the entire office. Strangest thing is there is only a homogeneous culture of brown-skinned people- no whites. All seem to be Pacific Islanders- maybe a couple of indians. Any WINZ office that shows one race is dominant usually indicates unethical practices. Multicultural offices are usually better. The South Auck offices seem to be full of bullies. I am not sure why but it is not professional and the NZ Govt allows it. They do not seem to want to communicate effectively to help unless they like you or you make them feel good. This is not about feeling good- this is about doing a job properly and treating everyone equally! Low ethics is the problem within NZ society from WINZ to Health Specialist to Uni to Job place- its endemic. No wonder why people do not want to work or do anything- the problem seems to be everywhere. Its a huge problem and to allow people to bully and retaliate against you for complaining or saying something or asking for what you need is BS - that is the CROWN - our tax dollars and hard work are going to pay Harry's and Meghan's renovations of 3 million for their cottage- the queen bought the furniture with also our tax paying dollars. Her taxes are excused each year so she does not have to pay them. WE NEED INDIVIDUAL INCOME DIVIDEND AND NO MORE WINZ! WINZ IS UNDER THE CROWN. NO MORE CROWN. NZ should be free of the Crown but here again the Govt is already corrupt so will remain that way. Hold sign at WINZ that says no more abuse from staff I am here to get help not be abused. The problem is low ethics and morals- no virtue!

I gave 1 star simply because,i went into the Manukau winz department i ask the receptionist may I please have a few copies of my curriculum vitae, the person came back with 1 copy,I nicely asked may i please have a few copies to e-mail out to potential employee's where upon the person replayed....go to the library and get some photo copies,I was thinking to myself, WITH WHAT COIN??????? it all went on food and bus fare,then at that very moment my ❤️ went humble and I left quietly.

Not sure who I spoke to or where, but I rang to make an appointment to discuss the death of my husband, just to make sure everything was in order. The lady I spoke to was a good listener, very empathetic, and calmly reassuring. Bravo.

Bullying, intimidation, and harassment for anyone who applies for Job Seeker benefit, and they try so hard to shove you into any jobs for the sake of cooking the books, and they ask you to lie to potential employers to make you employable!!! The attitude WINZ seems to know what's best for client's rather than client's knowing what's best of them. Ya right!

With the right attitude, respectful experience received from the team members at Manukau branch. Thank you.

The front desk staff are so horrible and everyone in the building looked like they hated their job. There was only two happy and helpful faces in the building. 1 consultant named Kiri and the other in employment services named Kiri. They both went above and beyond to help my husband and I obtain what is needed. There was also a lovely staff named Patsy who also kindly helped us as well. If these staff members didn’t go above and beyond for my query I would have rated this place a 1. Wait times are ridiculous as well. Building needs a serious upgrade.
