VTNZ Timaru

Expensive and slow! Took the better part of an hour and $78 for a motorcycle wof even though it takes them less than half the time vs a car.Disgraceful, won't be back.Edit: excuses and generic reply, as expected. Still won't be back.

Very friendly helpful staff. They even have Lions Mints on the counter, so you can support a local charity while getting your vehicle checked.

Great & helpful professional customer service. Could not believe by the time I entered and how fast the mechanics were of doing my wof was approximately a total of 15mins and it was done! So efficient!

I found the staff members who were obviously short of staff numbers were very pleasant and helpful.However,,,, I was surprised to discover that a couple of things " which have not been an issue previously now need to be rectified within 6 months."

I arrived to go for my full license but failed before even going for the test purely because I had my 4 month old baby with me. He is solely breastfed so can not be left with anyone, I also live in a new city so don't know anyone that could of watched him, and he was asleep. I'm highly disappointed as I feel thats discrimination towards single mothers. The lady behind the counter seemed apologetic but still nothing changed and I wasn't given the option to test later that day or at a later date. I was also never told prior that I couldn't take my baby with me. After the humiliation and disappointment I likely won't go back there and would either travel elsewhere to go for my license.

Great place for a warrant, great team, very strict and safe but its starting to get really overpriced.Unfortunately I am thinking of looking for a cheaper option after 5 years of coming to VTNZ.Otherwise highly reccomended.

The guys out at vtnz timaru are straight up, no mucking around, if there's something needs fixing they'll tell you, and the great thing is they're not there to make money off your problems so they don't make stuff up. All the guys are friendly, the ladies behind the counter are friendly and super helpful. Would absolutely recommend going here for your warrant check!

It was a bit slow today as they had a break down with some equipment but they got it sorted really quick so we all got wofed and cofed
