It was touching to be sold the most expensive take away coffee in my 50 years on earth under the premise of caring for the environment. Take away cups are deplorable but what is worse is the cafe is owned and operated by the lunatics who are flying helicopters onto the rapidly receeding Mt Cook glacier all day long. Greenwashing on steroids. Coffee was average but I needed it all the same. Hope all the pilots have keep cups.

For those who said this cafe is not good. I disagree. In the middle of nowhere. $17 for fish and chips. Good coffee. There is no complaints.

Coffee and Hot Chocolate were great. Lovely views and really worthwhile to take the Helicopter ride!

Probably the best place to get a good coffee near Mt Cook (rather than going to Hermitage for coffee). Tasty hot cross bun.Beautiful view.Service was a little slow but I think it’s because a few people arrived at the same time.

Cafe is short of staff at this time so menu super limited (see pic). Would not stop here for lunch if you can help it. Muffins are decent. However the shop next to the cafe has interesting quality souvenirs and staff is super helpful.

We were originally going to eat at Mt Cook, but we hadn't checked that it was available. Turns out that morning there was a function. Oh well. We turned around and went back to Glen tanner where we'd stayed the night. The Tasman Delta Cafe was on site, with brekkie getting started. We ordered a big breakfast and it was... big, hearty and filling. It gave us the sustenance for the climbing we'd be doing that day. Being on the road, the Tasman Delta Cafe gave us an option where we'd otherwise be hungry that day.

The best coffee made by a real barista and the best staff in the Mt Cook valley. On the top of all real home made cake.

Really lovely little cafe on the way to Mount Cook. Staff are super friendly and even remembered our coffee order when we came back the next day. Amazing to watch the helicopters taking off and the views from outside area towards the mountains - so much so we booked a helicopter trip then and there! Staff were so helpful and we had an incredible flight that afternoon. Highly recommend.

Not a great first visit! Call to check before you go.We went here for lunch during our return from Mount Cook village, after reading several good reviews. We were disappointed. The menu was extremely limited- see photo. Even worse, my extra hot chocolate was not even hot.Other than the cabinet food (spinach and feta quiche) the only vegetarian items were potato wedges and fries.I hope they get over their problems soon and back to normalcy.
