Travelled from Akl to try them out and it was well worth the trip. Cornbeef Pie, Paua Pie, Cream Paua, Fried Bread hands down, amazing 1000%

Was a frequent shopper from this bakery but today was the last time. My son, who attends Maeroa Intermediate went there after school today and ordered some chips. He paitenly waited for his chips and when he asked where his chips were after some time, the person at the counter continually denied that he had bought any chips. He was going to just leave as how can a 11yo win an argument with a adult. My daughter stood up for him and then finally another employee came from around the back to say he had in fact bought some chips. Would have taken this employee a moment to check with their collogues. But instead just assumed my son was trying to rip you off. The bloody cheek. You've lost a customer and I will ensure others won't patron here either.

Well worth the drive to get to for a tasty pie. Baselined with a trusty Steak n Cheese. Flaky pastry, big chunks of steak, abundant gooey cheese. Slightly more gravy than expected, but still very good nonetheless. Next time will try their signature Paua Pie.

Love this place. Love the seafood pies. Excellent service, friendly people. A place I will always go to when needing a seafood pie.

Hidden treasure in the Maeroa area.. well worth the visit.Paua and Salmon pies just to name a few of the yum pies.... oh don't forget the loaded fries.
