Marki's Barbershop

Sharp blades, good chats and a chill environment. Would recommend if you're looking for a sharp fade and a great cut. Came up from Timaru to get my latest cut. Will be coming back again.

Can't recommend enough, I've been going to Marki's for a haircut ever since he was in Timaru and was happy to hear he is now in Christchurch. Excellent service and the best haircut in New Zealand! His new place is very well located, right by the CBD.

I received a men's mid-length haircut and beard trim from Marki who did an excellent job and a good value (compared to some other barbers in the area). With 10+ years of experience, he's highly recommended for any length hair. Will be coming back next time I'm in town!

Just walked away with a stellar hair cut! My first visit to Marki's Barbershop and couldn't be happier. I wasn't totally sure what I wanted for a cut, but Marki was super helpful, asking me how I usually get it cut, what I was looking to try, and even paused half-way thru my haircut to ask if I wanted to keep going in this direction or mix it up. He had a great suggestion and I ended up with a perfect cut! Very easy to get in for an appointment, started on-time, and had a fun chat with Marki! This is a super friendly barbershop with a very welcoming vibe and Marki is a hair-cutting pro with tons of experience. Definitely would recommend!

Fantastic Barber! I was on holiday from Germany and randomly passed by - Marki gave me an appointment on the same day and was super friendly!The result was fantastic - I don’t think I was as satisfied like that in Germany before. I just popped in for a beard trim and was blown away by the whole experience. Marki clearly knows his stuff as a barber, and is just a good lad overall. I'm new to growing out a beard, not only did he get my beard looking sharp, but he also gave me some tips on how to maintain it. I will definitely be going back again.

I have to say this is the best barbers I've been to since being in NZ for over ten years. From the minute I walked in the door I was warmly welcomed and continued to feel comfortable the whole time. Feeling like I had known Marki for years but it was my first time in his shop. His talent is excellent and suggestions for styling were on point for my beard trim. Highly recommend supporting this young fella and I will be booking my next appointment in advance next time I'm due down from Auckland.

Great cuts from a good lad. Had the pleasure of having Marki as my sons and my barber for approx 12 - 18 months and was gutted when he left to start his own shop in Christchurch. Good luck mate im sure you will do well.

Great haircut for a reasonable price. Marki is super friendly and easy to chat to, he makes you feel very welcome. Will definitely go back when in Christchurch again.
