The best service from Rachel from email correspondence and her checking us in was easy friendly and beautiful smile. The rooms was just what we needed. clean and convenient. bonus was the restaurant on site room service. we loved it so much. Recommended by my sister who also had the conference room booked for our family occasion. the best. Meals served and service from Jimmy in the restaurant excellent service.Thank you Hotel Ashburton.Loved everything

Very disappointed with the service, on arrival got “what’s your name?” No hello, and then next, “that will be $155”. Never had to pay before even staying the night. She didn’t show any services in the hotel, only where the room was.The shower, it was freezing, to get hot water the pressure was super super low and you had to lean right against the wall, the shower head doesn’t move. You can hear children running up and down the hallways. Room took ages to warm up. Can’t fill the jug in the basin, you have to use the bath.

Couldn't be happier. Good service. 24 hour check in. Good location. Clean cozy room. Modern heat pump heats the room in about 20 minutes flat. Electric blankets on both beds. Only complaint is that the shower was pretty bad but definitely still usable. This was only $125 for 3 people over Easter weekend. Definitely got more than we paid for in this case.

Great dinner, nice friendly good waitress. Kids loved the cheezy garlic bread. Good ribs and Sirloin steak meal. Finally we got great size ribs the 13 year old couldn't finish. ... lol.Thankyou.

Do not recommend this location.Very unclean and unprofessional. The hotel manager made myself and my friends feel very uncomfortable and none of us will be returning. Very appalled to see such a good place crumbling to the ground. Don’t waste your time and money on this business!

Staff were friendly and breakfast was really good and reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and tidy but bathroom need some work. You could have got stuck in the bathroom if you could actually shut the door properly to start with, door handle was hard to move, I could barely do it with both hands. Sink tap needed tightening and shower control came off and flew into the bath. Water pressure about the worst ie me across

Great place to stay, very welcoming, plenty of spaces available for any functions, superp service, tavern attached where experienced great service, atmosphere and there were pool tables, pokies, music box and sports TV to view.

Still an average country pub. Cheery staff which was nice as too many servers in this day and age don't bother to acknowledge their customers.
