Rick provided me with a no obligation consultation on a small but troublesome floor repair. I was very impressed with his level of service; friendly, reliable and professional. Rick made arrangements to fit in with my schedule and gave me very knowledgeable and helpful advice. I am completely confident in using Flawless Floor Finishes for my floor finishing and repair needs in the future.

Our floor looks stunning all thanks to Rick and his team. We had original, never touched old Matai flooring with chips, holes, sections missing and it now looks incredible. Rick has an eye for detail and the floor came up better than we could have ever imagined!

I engaged Richard to sand back and polyurethane my 15 year old wood floor at the start of 2019. I knew very little about wooden flooring and expected he would be the expert so was extremely surprised when he started sanding my floor and went right through to the gib. He hadn't even realised it was an engineered floor and had used completely the wrong sanding machine. This now meant I had to replace my whole floor which would be about $10K+ vs the $3K to re sand it. I had paid a deposit of $1,469.00 and given my loss of confidence in him I asked for the deposit back. Despite continued requests for him to refund my deposit he still has not paid. I have taken him to the small claims tribunal and could have requested the full replacement of the floor yet only asked the deposit which they ordered him to pay and to date (Nov 2022) he has not paid this back to me. I was loathe to write this review and wanted to give him every chance to pay me back. My advice is to stay away from Flawless Floor Finishes and employ someone who knows what they are doing.

Great workmanship from Rick - thoroughly recommend. He was very easy to communicate with and explained the process as he was doing his thing. We just got a small section of boards sanded for our bathroom reno, but will be getting him back to do the kitchen and lounge when we get around to it!
