This is a lovely spot but ruined by garbage, pollution and the boy" racer's spinning out and speeding off. Also 80 km is too fast for that road

Was a lovely spot but being ruined by the mess people leave, including hypodermic needles from the junkies. Don't walk around in your bare feet here...

Hidden gem.Ideal camping spot as a base for nearby mountain bike and walking tracks in the Arapuke forest.Fixed wood fired bbq’s and modern composting toilet.Lower carpark ideal for camping by the river in a vehicle or a tent on grass reserve next to the upper carpark.Camp fires allowed.2 quiet nights here with a couple of other campers each night. Great night sky on a clear nightDefinitely stay here again.

What can i say. This place is mean. One year a group of about 20 of us had nothing to do for new years so we cut the chain and camped out for the night only to have had one of the meanest new years in my early 20's. I even managed to catch an eel in the stream which was highly surprising. Oh yeah and it has nice scenery if thats what your into.

Gorgeous overnight spot for a peaceful camp. There’s one modern long drop onsite and several older BBQ pits, which are a bit untidy assumedly due to previous disrespectful campers. Only a few spots are available for vehicles with most being at stream level, all of which are semi level. Limited phone signal, no 4g coverage for voda phone.

Nice place to camp and enjoy your stay as you can camp or fish or go up to all of the mountain biking trails and hiking trails next to the hills. Please do not make the same mistake we made, the walking and biking trails are up the road about 3k.The place has BBQs (wood burning BBQ)The toilets are a bit unclean it just depends on when you come they might get cleaned.Fires are allowed.Tents are allowed.Campervans are allowed.Fishing is allowed. There is a toilet. You are only allowed to stay three night maximum. For more info about this place go to the website (palmy council website)

Needs some TLC, a bit of rubbish around, otherwise nice spot though. Not great for swimming.
