Where do i start ! From point of call i knew this would be great place to stay. The staff/reception were very friendly, We even had a nice complimentary bottle of sparkling on arrive to our Superior Room with a outside area. Very comfortable bed and well thought out interior. Looking forward to my next stay.

Hotel room was adequate, love the bathroom spaciousness! We parked at the hotel for 35 nzd per night, however it was a hassle accessing the car park every time, and very narrow too.Overall the hotel location is on Queens street but seems to be in a seedy area of queens street. Did not feel safe at night, many homeless and drunkards in the area.

Everything is good Loved our one night stay. Room was very clean and warm midwinter, comfy beds, powerful shower, car parking provided for $35 fee. We had our two young kids with us and sharing the two big beds worked well. No facilities other than a jug, cups and a small fridge. Microwave would be so useful! Cannot access other floors with your room card so make sure if multiple rooms booked that they're all on the same floor or it's a significant hassle.

Nice clean rooms right in the middle of town. Breakfast is great and worth adding to you room when booking. We had a family, 2 kids, rooms a little small but fine for a few nights.

The room provide was to our expectation. The room service people were very accommodating however the front reception staff always seemed preoccupied with their computers and hardly provided any notice and service would would expect form a Mercure. They also need to update all their location maps including on Facebook as out friends that where to meet us got confused with the old location (excellent area) versus the new location which is in an area that is somewhat rundown and looks unsafe to walk around at night. Much further to walk to the harbour but perhaps good as a exercise.

Pros and cons.Pros - lovely check in staff. Good location. Good size and room and great shower.Cons - atrocious sound proofing. I changed rooms 5min after checking in as it sounded as if the people next door where in the room with me. Next room was no different and you can hear every world someone says next door or in a the hallway.

Clean, polite, decent breakfast and if you pay for dinner the steakhouse downstairs was not bad! The only complaint I have is the adjoining room- the neighbour next door was loud every night, I could hear conversations and it would have been better if I didn’t get the adjoining room.

We had a fantastic stay here! Room was very clean, stuff were helpful and friendly.We paid a little extra and had a breakfast added on which was at lone star that you can access through the lift. We enjoyed that as well, there was a buffet or you could order off the breakfast menu.We will definitely stay again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great location, walking distance to CBD and restaurants but prepare for an up hill climb at the end of the day. Nicely decorated room with comfortable bed (medium firmness) and good shower. Great value for money, would recommend for a couple of nights.

Mercure Auckland Queen Street
If you are looking for a comfortable room, good location in Auckland, this fits the bill. Spent two nights there, very efficient staff, clean room and very comfortable bed. A short walk into down town Auckland and only 20 minute walk to the harbour. There's a great little park opposite the hotel if you need some green space and quiet. Highly recommended this Hotel.
