Avoid avoid avoid!! Open till 7pm, the out of hours pump requires a preauth of 500 dollars (this hold lasts up to 14 working days)!! The petrol cost was 2.40 for 91 when the rest of the country is around the 2.20 mark. The next town is 25 minutes away and has much better prices

Incredibly expensive fuel, as well as racist staff. He was friendly towards the people of his own colour. But as soon as my mother came forward, this man stood back as if she were to bite him? All she did was say hello, and man rudely did not interact with her other than to let her pay for the fuel. The next customer, he stood closer to the counter and was very active in making conversation. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Do better.

Very expensive fuel and dishonost staff. I called to check the price before driving to franz josef an hour before. I had the option of filling at fox glacier but carried on after the allied staff told me a price 10c cheaper. However when i got there they were even higher priced. Avoid this station at all costs. Or only fill a small amount and drive else wh ere

Expensive fuel, rude and potentially racist staff. We fuelled up at this place for over $100 and after then parked the car at their spots aside for 5 minutes (there were quite a few spots and no other cars there), and then this guy came out and asked us to leave saying “this is for customer only”. We told him we just got the fuel there and he’s like “which is fine but next time you could use the street parking”. So once we paid we’re not their customer anymore? Put up a sign then, or get some education please. Your parking lot doesn’t look like a gold mine.

Racist staff and expensive fuel.He was only friendly towards his own race.When he saw me (Asian) went in to pay for the fuel, he did not go to the counter immediately. He kept chatting to another White customer at the corridor who wasn't even paying for quite awhile to keep me waiting.Then he came and ungenuinely apologize for keeping me waiting, implying that he was intentional.When I paid with Pay wave and found out that there was a surcharge and asked him why, he said insultingly that I should always read notices or signs wherever I go. Then he showed me there was a sticky note on the credit card machine stating surcharge applied for Pay wave.Before I left the store I heard him jokingly said to the White customer whom he was chatting with earlier that he didn't even know if I could understand what he was saying.I was quite patient and polite to him but this was the attitude I got. I saw a lot of bad reviews about the staff in Google Review and I wondered why the company still didn't take any action.I rarely experienced racism in NZ but this staff changed my mind.Bravo.

Literally the most I’ve ever paid for petrol worldwide..plus had to pay extra to use a debit card because it “acts like a credit card” (it doesn’t though).Fill up elsewhere!!
