Halo Hair

I went in to get a full head of foils along with a haircut (I wanted long layers and curtain bangs). the colour wasn’t blended in properly, my roots looked extremely rough. The hairdresser only did face framing cuts, and even that wasn’t layered properly. I was so shocked and unhappy with the end result after spending 5 hours and so much money.

Absolutely love my hair. June and her colleague were true gems. I was running about an hour late due to unforeseen car issues and they still managed to squeeze me in. Very grateful and appreciative of June and her amazing work! Will 100% be returning.

Unhappy with what I received. I visited here in May, to try achieve my dream hair colour after seeing people I know have a positive experience here. I paid $500 hoping to get my dream blonde. I arrived at just after 9am, and left the salon 6 hours later. I was left on the wash bowl for over an hour, in which my neck was hurting, and I woke up the next day with a bruise on the back of my head. I really wasn’t happy with my hair. I was happy at first as it was an instant change, but later that day I noticed I really disliked the way my hair was dyed. I messaged letting me know it wasn’t what I was after. I was advised, already have paid $500, i had to pay an additional $280 to get what I wanted. I was shocked. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with my hair, and I held back from leaving a review as the staff were lovely. However my regrowth was horrible, it was a band, exactly what I asked them not to do. I went back to my original hair dresser yesterday because I hated my hair so much. They were shocked at what had been done, they said it had been a really bad job done on my hair, and it wasn’t done properly, and looked rushed. I got my dream hair last night for half the time and half the price. I’m upset as I paid such a high price at Halo ($500 the most I’ve ever paid) and was told I had to pay more to achieve the look I first asked for. I won’t be coming back here despite the lovely staff, the service was very poor.

Life Saver! I had never had a salon experience before so sent through a few messages and customer service was amazing!June was so informative, understanding and super professional! I came in with a hair colour and JUNE gave her professional insight on the aftercare process of everything, I decided to leave it with her and along the way failed to mention I used box dye. Super apologetic along the way, June never let up! She fixed it and assured me that I was in safe hands! I genuinely was so so surprised with the outcome and fell in love with it, she truly took care of me and in her professional opinion made my experience so incredible. So many compliments from family and friends regarding the hair colour! Thank you June so so much! Look forward to my next appointment with Halo & June!!!

So easy to book in appointments and I just wanted to thank June for my amazing hair transformation! I am so obsessed and I feel like a complete Goddess! Thank you sm! I would 100% recommend her, she was so confident and knew exactly what to do with my hair, she’s also got an bubbly personality which helps keep you alive during the whole session! My first time with Halo and also first time using balayage and I love it!! Service was AWESOME. Big shout out to June for making me feel 10x100 better after doing my hair! Love your work sister. My new hair salon from now on.

Unsatisfied and disappointed, if you’re thinking of doing your hair do not go to halo hair. I asked for ash blonde, they recommended brown balayage and got nowhere near what I wanted. They didn’t resolve the issue, and only gave me the option of toning or paying more to get it fixed. Definitely unprofessional and felt rushed for the price of $480. Would not recommend it to anyone.
