Whitby Chinese Takeaway
Last two visits to Whitby Chinese Takeaway have been very disappointing. Their food lacks flavor, meat or vegetables. Get a noodle dish, you basically just get the cheap part... it's ALL noodles. Same goes for rice dishes... it's nothing but rice. The food quality at Whitby Chinese Takeaway is appalling! It's a real shame because it was good once.

Mmmmmm.We've been here a couple of times since moving in. So far the won-tons and noodles have been big hits with the adults. Useful that they also do fish and chips that the kids love.Quick and friendly service with orders taken over the phone. Easy parking outside No credit cards though so prepare for that.Also - don't get the industrial strength turmeric on your new white work shirt.

Been coming here for over a year now and my family and I love it! Food is always tasty & the burgers have goo solid meat patties. Reasonably priced, clean premises and the service is always fast and friendly. Many thanks!

Was very surprised to see there prices increasedOrdered sweet&sour pork the meat was soo small with heaps of onion more onion than meat.Combination fried rice,lots of onions very little meat with no vegetables in it at all.Disappointed wouldn't return,just wasted $45.

Visited around 7pm on a Friday night. No queue to order, meal was prepared in about 5 minutes.Chips were very good, I sampled the fish too which was nice. Hawaiian burger fell apart when eating, too much mayonnaise and tomato sauce.

These guys are our regular Chinese takeaway in Whitby even though we don't have it very often.Our last visit was really disappointing. Our usual order of Egg Foo Yeung had shrunk by what looked like half the container size from our last visit and the price had increased by about 30%.The Sweet & Sour Pork (also 30% price increase) was a lot of tiny pieces of pork, much was seemingly just batter. Maybe it was the dregs from the bottom of the freezer bag?The taste of both dishes was as expected but it is such a marked change from our previous visits, for meal size, quality and the price increases. I accept that prices are affected very much by inflation these days but the huge size reduction of the Egg Foo Yeung made that price increase rather unpalatable at over $50 for two small container.Sorry guys but we won't likely be back, such a shame as you used to be good (if pricey compared to other takeaway options).

Service was polite and quick, the wait time was short. I noted a lot of pick ups happening, so locals must do phone ordering.We ordered combination chow mein, I skipped the broccoli, which they added cabbage and had extra meat (extra $5.50). A good size meal was had, even had enough for dinner the following night.Might just have to go back to try some of their other dishes.

Whitby Chinese Takeaway
Quantity Vs price is well out of balance. Quality is average but inconsistent but they definitely capitalize on the fact they are the only Chinese takeaway in Whitby. Cannon Creek is of better quality consistently with bigger portions and considerably cheaper on everything across the menu.
