Enjoyed the Kiwiana walkway and the O" Cafe next door. Spacious tidy park beside the river which was running high and swift due to rainy weather."

First place staying for our new year trip. Beautiful well kept park busy with campers but nice and quiet. Quick walk to town or scooter & skateboard in our case all the locals were superfriendly!

Nice place for overnight stay, protected from wind, quiet, well-cared for, with a walkway for a good walk along the stream that goes just behind the park and parts of the city. Drinking water and recycling bins availble.

Good halfway spot to break the journey from Auckland to New Plymouth. Quiet, pleasant riverside tracks and not far from town if you fancy a takeaway.
