This is the place to go if you want the latest in do's and get look after at the same time! Anna is absolutely beautiful and very accommodating to listening to what your wants and likes are.

Called this morning to make an appointment to have my 11 year old daughter’s hair cut and they had a slot that afternoon. I would give this salon a 10/10 for their customer service which they clearly put a lot of effort into. Nida gave my daughter a brilliant hair cut and my daughter loves it! The ladies even made her a milkshake which went down a treat. Even I was looked after with a freshly brewed plunger of coffee while I was waiting. Would definitely return again after such a great experience.

They always do great job. Its a price point that may put some off but I've never left not being happy with my results. Shenae and the team are kind and knowledgeable.

Absolutely brilliant experience, perfect blonde foils! I've had my hair done all over the world and had probably the best hair dressing experience ever at Ursula. They booked me in the day before, everyone was lovely and my chemically damaged blonde hair was treated with care and respect for a brilliant result. Well done team!

Just had a fantastic experience at Ursula Hair Design : I called on the off-chance I could get a stand-by appointment because I happened to be passing through Nelson and my hair desperately needed cutting. The lady that answered the phone was super friendly and even moved things around so they could squeeze me in that afternoon. My hair was cut by Danielle, a junior stylist, who was lovely and chatty, and did a fantastic job on my hair, even though she said she was a bit nervous as she had not had much practice on short hair. We talked quite a bit about how I wanted it cut and I showed her some photos of my hair style when it was shorter. She also kept checking throughout that she was doing the right thing. Danielle was very attentive to my needs and I loved the end result. Had a lovely head massage from the very new apprentice too. Great service from Ursula Hair Design - highly recommended!

It is ok, really. I go there for foils. Pricy, friendly staff, not the cleanest place (noticeable amount of hair of other customers on furniture), most of the time good quality, sometimes not so good - and then I’m unhappy with the price.

Was thrilled with the cut from Ursula. Highly recommend.

I went home later that day and I was devastated to see that it is a very blunt and uneven cut- the sides are different lengths, There are random long chunks of strands that we're missed and I'm going to have to loose a lot of length when a hairdresser fixes this cut!Not what I asked for, not a professional cut. Hairdresser has hacked into my hair and thinned out. Later I discovered that the hairdresser wasn't a senior stylist - even though I had requested one. So disappointed.
