Highly disappointed with Conveyancing Shop Botany and their staff. I sent them several emails regarding our transaction and have only received a reply to one email. I had to phone them to ask what was happening about our transaction and have still had no confirmation as to what has happened. It has been over 3 months now. The only time they had any communication with me was to send me a hefty invoice in which they had communication with me" as the description of the costs. On another occasion I emailed them to look over a LIM and title for me to which I got no response and almost lost out on the property because of this. This lack of interest shown in clients caused us to change to another law firm who have been amazing and a much more professional outfit."

Stay away, clearly inexperienced, unprofessional, not enough knowledge to deal with all things conveyancing. Go somewhere else. More detail below if you want to read.In short - the worst experience I've had in my life when it comes to dealing with a 'professional service'.They were engaged to do 2 things.1. Usual conveyancing, LIM check, due diligence etc. Their service was very poor, misleading from the start, answers where never clear, went on different directions than initially asked. After a lengthy process, this is with the pressure of getting all paperwork sorted for an auction, we get statements like 'law is not an exact science'. Very inexperienced on conveyancing. After all, we wanted to put an offer through on the Thursday they kept confusing us, our bank,etc despite paying extra fees for urgency, we could only put an offer on a Tuesday and still lost the house.2. Relationship agreement, the solicitor said she needed to talk to me. We arranged a time and she hadn't called. 20 minutes later I rang her and she was still unprepared and had to call me back further 20 minutes later. On the phone she gave me the advice and I asked to have the advice put on an email so it could be forwarded on to the other lawyers. 1 day later nothing. I emailed her again and her advice was 2 bullet points as opposed to the things she had mentioned on a 9 minute conversation the day before. never really mentioned the legal implications of such a contract, nor did she ask me what the intention of the agreement wasy or how it'd affect me. She only said that if I wanted more help it'd cost more, when I only wanted an email with her advice as per the phone conversation. Despite all this the bill still came through for $400. I decided to pay just to not deal with them anymore as it was a complete nightmare. $400 for such a service is completely crazy.

People are quick to complain about bad service but not as quick to recognize exceptional service. With this in mind we decided to write this review.Our first dealing with Conveyancing Shop was in 2008. Due to a satisfactory service we decided to make use of Conveyancing Shop’s services again with the selling of our property in Auckland.We first dealt with Ane Potgieter in March 2020 with the settlement of the sale. We found Ane extremely focused, diligent, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Due to this positive experience we decided to engage with Conveyancing Shop yet again on the settlement of our section in Christchurch.Conveyancing Shop should be proud to have such an enthusiastic and professional employee that is such a pleasure to deal with.

I have used this company twice now and both time I dealt with James from Conveyancing shop, he was organized, reliable and extremely helpful with all of my questions and made everything a breeze.Would highly recommend to all.
