Honestly I have never experienced a rude receptionist until today. This lady humiliated me and turned me away now I do not want to return because I fear I will be treated horribly again. This is a shame because I just want to get some help! With the multiple bad reviews about the receptionist isn’t this painting a picture!!?

Ive been coming here for years, yet I had a receptionist snap at me over the phone this morning. This is the first time ive ever had this happen.I rung up and stated that I have ran out of an very important medication I'm on by mistake.She snapped back in a disgusting tone, I DONT KNOW".I said

This is quite possibly the worst health centre possible. I came here since it was cheaper than my usual GP, and unfortunately the service reflects the price. I was consistently ignored and offered unreasonable solutions for my health issues, and had to fight to get referred to any type of specialist help. Even just today, I was spoken to rudely by a receptionist over the phone, even after asking if there was any help for people who had to un-enrol (which was for health reasons), which I was blatantly told that its not their issue". I am genuinely angry over this service

It's a hit and miss whether you'll be treated nicely by the receptionists. It's a shame because the place is always super tidy, the medical treatment is awesome, its the front of desk that is the biggest issue.

Bad experience of the receptionist.Very rude. Not everyone knows what you know. Never have an assumption on anybody else especially on a patient. You have thousand ways to nicely serve people, yet, you chose the worst one.Never had a chance to see the doctor as I already dissapointed with the receptionist.I think they keep doing bad service so less and less people will go there. Thus, their job will be easier. (It is not good to have other people have an assumption on you, right?)I think university management should jump in and recover their bad reputation through better customer service.

Referral was sent in almost 2 months ago. No communication to myself or my doctor. My voice message was ignored then my email was also ignored, reception rudely told me they never got it? My doctor never had any response either. Hard to believe all forms of contact made didn’t exist on their end. When I called and talked to them they said the waiting list was full so they denied my application. Communication goes a long way, it’s just added more time to get a diagnosis that I’ve been waiting months for

Long waits, incorrectly charged, some receptionists are great however a few still are quite rude. Some doctors work one day a week, if sick get told to wait 1-2 weeks for an appointment. Takes months to be seen by a counselor or pyschologist, ambulance seems to be at the bottom of the cliff. I hope some postive changes are finally made, as seen with the horrific reviews. I expect UC and the UCSA to take these reviews seriously as students & staff should be given the appropriate care they need. It really does sadden me having to write this after so many years.

Dropped off my enrolment form and asked if they had any appointments later in the day. Told us to go outside and call reception to see if any appointments were available because we weren’t allowed to be inside. Called reception outside, waiting through a long automated message, talked to a woman at reception who said they wont accept me for any appointments because I just handed my form in. Why wasn’t I just told that in the first place? Ridiculous to make me do that and has left a really bad first impression about the staff

I am unfortunate in that I have to attend this place. Clearly this is an exceptionally toxic manger in place who is destroying anything good in this health centre and has zero idea how to operate a health centre.Some staff are great, it's the management that is really dragging it down. Remove them!Is this the worst doctor in Christchurch? It would be close. Terrible service, aweful management, and really poor business practices.
