Excellent fish and chips! Whitebait sandwich is a must if it's on the board. Always friendly and if you have coins in your car or wallet they are always appreciated as there's no bank's near Haast!

Well, for a small store, km from supply lines, I was impressed with the freshness and reasonable prices of fruit and veg. Helpful staff too.

Go here only if really desperate. Still, you will have little hope. They did not even had bread when I was there. Very slim selection for the articles they did had. To top it up, lunch corner with no WiFi

This place was surprisingly good. It had a small sit down Cafe in one corner, a mini supermarket took up most of the space and it had an nternet corner with PC's for public use at $2 a go. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Food was fresh and hot, asked for sauce and water and got it instantly. Everything affordable small. Store has a good selection of food and goods also.

Try avoid this place if you can.. if you look like a tourist all take-away coffee be sure they'll charged a wopping 25% more and unfriendly service. My normal 2 latte coffee t/away ended up NZ$14 and waited 》10 minutes . While I was waiting for my coffee a local came in asked for the same thing - latte coffee t/a she paid NZ$5, Terrible policy.
