Raglan Fresh Fish
I had lunch here back in March and it was really good. The fish was very fresh and perfectly battered and cooked, and the chips were likewise excellent. I was very hungry so ordered 2 fish expecting to get 2 pieces, but I got 4 good pieces (two SERVES I guess) and had trouble finishing it all. All ready in 15 minutes as promised.There is public seating including a table on the footpath right outside if you don't want to walk to the beach.I'm very surprised by the negative reviews here - not my experience at all.

Raglan Fresh Fish
We recently visitied this place. We have not tried this local fish n chips shop before, so thought we give it a go.Food quality was excellent! Fish was tasty and fresh, chips were crispy and plentiful. Conveniently located in town. Comfortably our new favorite takeaway shop in Raglan. Highly recommend this store, we will be back!

Absolutely terrible service from staff member whom was male and missing teeth, it was almost like he would rather try to pick a fight than take on baord some constructive feedback. Basically it felt like if you not a local here your not welcome.

Really nice people running the place but pay attention to your reviews!!! Fish portions are half size charging full size prices. What's that about? Thats just greedy and pointless. Fish wasn't that fresh.....your called fresh fish?Will not return would not recommend highly dissatisfied sorry.Chips where burnt due to oil not being clean enough.Place needs a makeover as well. Sorry, have a think about what your promoting yourself as. We payed $66 for 4 people. I'd be OK with that for fish and chips if it was enough to feed 4 and fresh.

Overpriced fish and chips. We had to wait long for our orders. Lack of staff attending to the customers. On the up side dish and chips was tasty and they we following covid guideline. This shop is in the middle of town just waking distance from the beach.

It's worth and quality food for the price we paid. Will be back again. Kids loved the food. Little long waiting time...but we can understand how busy thier kitchen is and orders were keep coming. Overall it's a good little takeaway shop.

The staff were amazing, they were about to close and they opened back up for us. Awesome service.The beer batter chips and paua fritters were delightful.
